James M. Whitehouse Family Scholarship (Re-entry)

The James M. Whitehouse Family Scholarship is awarded to re-entry students with academic excellence. Students must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA and at least one completed semester with Bakersfield College. In this scholarship, “re-entry” student means someone who has been out of high school for several years or who perhaps has attended college in the past but dropped out and now is “re-entering”. It is important that the application be filled out completely and recommendations are important. Student must articulate a serious professional goal and demonstrate active participation in contributions to community or workplace.
