Reflections Scholarship

The Reflections Scholarship is awarded to incoming, returning, or transferring Bakersfield College students enrolled in any major. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and enroll full-time (12+) units. Applicants must submit a minimum 500 word essay outlining their educational and professional goals, while focusing on their journey as a financially challenged student attending a community college. The applicant will also discuss their educational background, the obstacles they faced due to financial constraints, and how they plan to use their community college experience to become a productive citizen in the future.
